I wasn't honestly expecting to wrap up the third act in this session. Truth be told, I was almost trying to sabotage myself in that regard, if only because from what I'm able to tell, the gameplay portion of the fourth (and final) act is going to be incredibly short... and you should know how I feel about any session that ends before midnight by now.

Having said that, I decided to stick to the best guide I could find in the previous session for this one. The major issue here is that, for some reason, it's an old-school text document that has been formated as either a single image... or multiple images in succession. Not exactly the most conducive thing to use for a text-based walkthrough, but it's still the best-written one I managed to find. Yet, despite attempting to follow this hallowed tome to the letter, I just kept on overlooking instructions.

I used to think that Sam & Max: Freelance Police proved that I had at least an inkling of interest in the esoteric point-and-click adventure games of the 1990s. But Discworld has dispelled that delusion with gusto. While the game's writing is clearly entertaining, playing the game itself just feels like a chore. The inability to speed up Rincewind's slow movement speed in major areas, the finicky objects where one needs to be pixel-perfect with their clicks to activate, even the game's control scheme itself. It's all so tiresome and tedious, honestly.

...and yet, truth be told, there's something that's likely *far worse* waiting for me on the other side of this game. Talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place.
