I'm still not sure how I feel about this game. During the streams themselves, I do find myself getting annoyed... just not to my usual extent. I guess there are multiple levels to just how annoyed I can get with something. Usually, when I hate something that I'm streaming, I'd consider my reaction to be a "Level 3". By extension, my reactions to Vanquish has been more akin to a "Level 2": I'm visibly annoyed, but not to the extent where I don't actually want to stop playing. Higher levels often have me put the controller down or twist it in my hands -- believe me, I did far worse at that state when I was younger -- and when I'm at the end of my rope, I just straight up ragequit.

The storyline is still probably the most appealing part of this one. It feels like one of those over-the-top parodies of the Metal Gear Solid series in many respects, something which Dari also seems to have picked up on.

When I asked KI how many missions this game had, he told me that there were 25 in total -- though, some may be far longer than others. Considering that I've managed to clear roughly 20 of them so far... and each of the first 3 acts appear to have 7 missions apiece, I have to wonder if he was just misremembering the correct number or if those last two Acts have 2 missions apiece that are just incredibly long. I guess time will tell. I've got no idea how much longer I'll be streaming this game, but I'm assuming I'll wrap it up sometime next week.
