Predicting the Biggest WrestleMania 40 Winners and Losers
34You know that WrestleMania weekend is a big deal when even those who don't follow it know there's something big happening in that world this weekend. This weekend Mark's WrestleMania 40, a two night event that showcases the immortals. There are a ton of different matches going on, and yes I know the outcomes are all predetermined so don't at me about how this is "fake". Part of the fun of watching wrestling is seeing if I can predict what is going to happen. Here we have my predictions for The biggest winners and losers going into WrestleMania 40.
Seth and Cody lose to Roman and Rock:
Night one has huge impacts on night two of WrestleMania, and I think it's also going to set up storylines down the road. If Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes are able to defeat Roman reigns and The Rock, then Cody gets a bloodline free main event on night two. If they lose, however, then it is bloodline rules for the undisputed WWE heavyweight championship between Roman and Cody. I not only think that Cody and Seth are going to lose, I think Seth is going to eat the pin and suffer an injury that causes him to have issues when he defends his belt the next night.
Not all championships will change hands:
I think we're going to have a lot of change over wrestlemania weekend, but not everything will. I believe Drew McIntyre will defeat Seth Rollins, IO sky will lose to Bailey, And Cody Rhodes will finally finish his story against Roman Reigns. We also have a six pack ladder match for the undisputed raw and SmackDown tag Team championships, and I think those will finally get separated. But not all champions will lose.
I don't think that they are going to have Cody and Drew both win titles at WrestleMania and have the ring general Gunter challenge them, as such I don't think Gunter is going to lose the intercontinental championship. I also think WWE enjoys having Logan Paul pose with the US title, so I don't think Owens and Orton are going to be successful either. I also think Rhea Ripley is on one of the best runs of all time, on part with Gunter and Roman and it is not time to take the belt off of her, and definitely not time to put it back on Becky.
