It is Time To Laugh - 3 Funny Games To Play On April Fools Day
42There are so many dumb and lame April Fools jokes out there on this day that you can't trust anything on the internet. I just saw a "Confirmation" of a 4th Kelvin universe Star Trek Movie, which I know isn't happening. That being said, the idea behind April Fools Day is to laugh and enjoy yourself a little, and there are several games that I play when I just want to laugh. So let's give you a break from dumb jokes and pranks and instead look at 3 different games or series I play when I just want to laugh.
Number 3
Earthworm Jim
From the start of the game, you get an idea of the humor that has gone into this game. You use a refrigerator to launch a COW into the air! A COW! And not only that, the joke gets paid off at the end when the cow actually lands on Queen Slug-For-A-Butt and smushes her! This is a terrific game, available on many retro systems, and it's one I cannot recommend highly enough.

Use Your Words
They describe the game as a funny game for unfunny people, and man, I am so glad John Riggs introduced me to this game over six years ago. It is part charades, part Quiplash, part Password, and totally hilarious. Available on the Nintendo Switch eShop, Playstation Store, Xbox Store, and other platforms, the great thing about this is it is a party game that people ACTUALLY enjoy to play and you only need 1 copy to get the fun trolling, I mean rolling. The word on the street is that the devs are working on a sequel, and I for one will buy it the day it comes out.
Number 1
The Ratchet & Clank Series
There are no words for how much I love this series, dating back to the PS2, then on the PS3, PS4, and now on the PlayStation 5, there are even versions on the PSP! This is a series that, while fictional, it just so much heart to it and it has such great wit to it. I love the back-and-forth between all the characters, and when you add in Armin Shimmerman, aka Quark from Deep Space 9 as THE main antagonist, there's so much to love and laugh at here.
