Project Wingman Frontline-59 Mission 2: Home Invasion
0In just about a week, Cascadia has assembled an invasion force. A large CIF fleet has been spotted heading for Magadan. The fleet consists of many warships and landing ships from the CIF Navy. With the Federation still reeling from the defeat over the Bering Strait, Cascadia has decided to bring the war directly to the Federation itself. The invasion force is being led by General Faust, a Cascadian military general who has a lot of influence in the military and has a strong hatred of the Federation. The Cascadians are attempting to land around 50,000 troops onto Magadan with naval support. The Federation has called up Magadan's Reserves to defend Point Refuge, the site where Cascadia will land their invasion force. K9 is being sent to assist Federation reserve units in defending Point Refuge. However, the Federation knows that they don't have full strength in Magadan, so this battle is only to delay the Cascadians and inflict damage to their invasion force. If the reserve units can cause heavy casualties to the CIF, then they will buy time for reinforcements to assemble so they begin a counterattack.
