Oikawa explains that Jin suspected Asuza of cheating and had a private investigator follow her, snapping the incriminating photos, but Asuza denies any wrong doing. Oikawa goes on to say that they might sue for damages as well and puts the offer on the table - Asuza to give custody of Karin to Jin and they will drop any payable damages. Oikawa already has the latest draft of the divorce papers and wants Asuza to sign them. I tell Genda that I'm stepping out for a bit and head to the love hotel to see what I can find.
I find the love hotel and the receptionist comes out to talk to me. He tells me to give him 100,000 yen and he will delete the footage. Just then a man arrives and I recognise him from Oikawas photos. He tells the receptionist to delete the photos as he has already paid him and then threatens him with a knife. After I defeat him, I talk to the receptionist and tell him that I will pay for the footage. We head out the back and I look on his laptop computer. After checking the footage it appears to be a different woman in the footage as opposed to Oikawas photos of Asuza and I deduce that the photos have been edited. Suddenly the man from before arrives with a baseball bat and smashes the computer destroying the evidence.
I head back to Genda's and inform him that the photos were edited but the evidence was destroyed on the computer. Asuza then reluctantly signs the divorce paper and Karin expresses her lack of care about what her parents do. I show everyone the ticket that Karin tore up which turned out to be a circus ticket. She just wanted to go to the circus with her parents one last time as her parents were happy then. The receptionist from the love hotel comes into the office and offers me a backup of the evidence as he made a copy before it was destroyed. We agree to buy the backup copy and play it on Genda's computer. Oikawa is caught out and leaves in a rage. Shintani appears and we decide to talk.
Shintani says we won the case for Hamura and to drop looking for the mole. I tell Shintani that Hamura knows who the mole is and that he's a target and that Shintani also is as well. Shintani then leaves in a huff. Kaito calls and tells me that he's in front of the Matsugane office and that Kuroiwa is running the investigation. Ayabe is also there and Kaito wants me to meet them at Bar Tender to discuss things further.
I ask Ayabe if he knows anything about the shooting last night but he says he doesn't. I ask Ayabe why the Kyorei clan are in Kamurocho in the first place. Ayabe says that Kyorei clan has the financial backing of the Kajihira group, a construction group probably so they can expand east out of Kansai and they have re-development plans from Tokyo. The Kyorei clan is handling all sorts of business for the Kajihira group such as evictions, land sharks, etc. The Kajihira CEO has been in Tokyo a lot lately, talking to lots of government officials and even Kazami, the head of the ministry of health.
Ayabe says the Kyorei clan aren't just in Kamurocho for Yakuza issues and that there is an underlying reason to do with Kajihira. After we finish chatting to Ayabe, Mitsuru Kuroiwa a detective from the organised crime division comes in to Bar Tender to introduce himself but there is animosity as he almost got Hamura jailed except that I got him acquitted. Kuroiwa brings up the Okubu case where I got him acquitted before he ended up killing his girlfriend before I leave with Kaito.
I talk to Kaito outside and deduce that Kuroiwa probably knows about Ayabe selling police information. I tell Kaito that the Kyorei clan has a construction company behind them. Kaito asks how we could investigate and we head to KJ Art to talk to Murase. We scout out KJ Art with the drone and see Murase on the phone. Suddenly we have some guns pulled on us from behind and it turns out to be the Satoshi Shioya, captain of the Kyorei clan. Kaito decides to fight them but they still hold a gun to my head. Just before they shoot me, Jester the masked bandit arrives just in time to kick the gun away and we get into a punch on.
More of their gang members arrive and we eventually defeat them. Jester then removes his mask to reveal himself. We then head to Charles Arcade and talk to Higashi. Jester tells us that his name is Fumiya Sugiura and he tells us that he's quit the burglary ring bandits. He goes on to say that he used to work for the Kajihira Group in Kansai doing IT work for them as their systems engineer. He got caught when he found out that their top people were hiding money in a fund for themselves. They accused him of embezzling funds and threw him out and he wants to get back at them.
He says he wants to help me find the mole and he wants revenge on the Kyorei clan. Higashi asks us to leave. Jo Masuda from Bar Tender tells me that the regulars are having a betting game, trying to work out what Mari does for a living and for me to come along.
