Ayabe calls me and tells me that Masuda told him to give me a ring. I ask Ayabe what happened with all of the money that was stolen from the Matsugane family which will cost me $200,000 yen. He drops the price to $100,000 and says he'll drop by my office tomorrow and to have the cash ready. I rest up and he calls me in the morning but he's already in my office. He gives me the files on the Matsugane robbery. He shows me the floor plan of the Matsugane office and he goes over how the robbery took place. The thief broke in by avoiding the cameras and knowing that there were minimal guards at 3pm, pulled a gun on Kaito, got him to open the safe and took the money.
Ayabe reckons he had a contact on the inside as he would never have known when to avoid the cameras and guards. He goes on to say that Higashi was also there during the robbery, but Kaito was the one who was blamed. Higashi saw the whole thing and remembered the thiefs face. Kaito took the blame and got kicked out of the Matsugane family. Higashi ended up chasing the thief down and got the money back but that didn't get Kaito back in the family. Higashi used the police data base to find the thief who was known as Red Nose. Ayabe shows me a photo of him.
I decide to find Red Nose so I head to the parks around town where the homeless people stay and inquire about him. I finally come across one of the homeless people who says he doesn't know Red Nose but his friends might know him. He gives me a Play Pass and asks me to play the Dice and Cube Virtual Reality game as a favour to get a prize for him. I head to the Dice and Cube VR game arcade where I use the Play Pass and the receptionist Naisu Daisu walks me through playing the game. In the end I win a Luxury Meal Ticket to give to the homeless man.
Suddenly a weird looking thing flies past and a bald man yells out that it's his. It turns out to be his wig. He ends up spraining his ankle and asks me to retrieve it for him. I end up getting it back for him and he introduces himself as Toya Takunaga who is a singing and dancing idol. Eventually I return to the homeless man and give him the prize. He says his friend might know where he is and his friend shows up and suggests I head over to the childrens park where they hand out free food.
When I get there the homeless mans friend shows up with a gang of bums and try to beat me up. I defeat them and then ask them why they attacked me. He explains that they wanted to know who I was and wanted to know why I was enquiring about Red Nose now. He tells me that he died about a year ago, floating in the sewer and had been killed from gunshots but they didn't inform the police. They tell me that a Yakuza was looking for Red Nose. Kaito shows up and shows the bum a picture of Higashi who tells us that he was the guy looking for Red Nose. Kaito says Higashi isn't a murderer. I tell Kaito that I will talk to Higashi and Kaito agrees to come with me to Charles Arcade.
