One of the biggest talks in the games industry is just when we will get that long overdue PS5 reveal event. The Event that is geared towards the consumers people like me and you watching this video.

According to multiple sources June 4th is being highlighted as the reveal event and some other saying the reveal event is to take place at some point in June.

This is it people, this is the time for Sony to show us just what they are bringing with the PlayStation 5. Im hungry for info and im sure you are as well and most of all Im itching to see what games will be coming to the platform.

So first off do I believe a June reveal to be likely, yes. PlayStation is due for a reveal and I can’t imagine they are going to wait any longer as the release date is coming soon and the hype needs to start rolling sooner rather than later.

I am hoping to see the console revealed, some new first party games and maybe even a partnership with SquareEnix possibly showing off Final Fantasy XVI. I think a price reveal is likely not going to happen as I can imagine they want to wait a little later into the year to announce that followed by the opening of pre orders.

Although, there are rumors of pre orders opening up as well in June which would also imply we would get a price reveal as well.

I think it is time for PlayStation to make a move in the games industry. We know that Unreal Engine 5 Tech demo impressed us and showed us what this console is capable of, but what we need next is a reveal of the console and showing us the slate of games to come. Which brings me to yet another rumor of how we will be shown an entire slate of games and this is something PlayStation needs to do to truly silence the nay sayers who consistently complain about PlayStation being so quiet.

So, what could PlayStation show that would not only impress us but surprise us at the same time. Obviously, I can only go based off my own interests but I imagine that some of you may share a similar taste in video games. It goes without saying that Spiderman had an incredible impact and with the recent acquisition of Insomniac PlayStation has significantly bolstered their first party line up and could present possibly the next big hitter Spiderman 2. To put this in perspective I am not a fan of the Spiderman movies or comics yet the game pulled me in and had me enjoying Spiderman more than I ever could have imagined it would. Insomniac are geniuses at crafting games with addictive and fun gameplay mechanics and with the power of the SSD, CPU and GPU I can only imagine what they will be bringing with Spiderman 2.

As an avid fan of the Forza series and a former fan of the Grand Turismo series I would be lying if I didnt say that I want nothing more than to see GT make a return with a vengeance. Every PlayStation generation has had a GT game and this gen should be no different especially when it comes to showing off what the PS5 can do on a graphical level. While I don’t think this would be a launch title I do believe they will show off this game as one of the titles coming in 2021.

So, Horizon Zero Dawn was one of those games that intrigued me but once I played it, it truly pulled me in. The visuals, gameplay, story, characters and music all had something great to offer. I would love to see a sequel to this game as well but I don’t think we will just yet rather we will probably see KillZone make a return with a reboot in hopes to pull in those craving an FPS exclusive to the PlayStation platform.

I probably speak for most PlayStation fans when I say God of War on the PS5 would be the most anticipated PlayStation exclusive to come. After the success of God of War on the PS4 and the ridiculous amount of awards won we know that the next entry in the series is a sought after title that likely even exceeds PlayStations biggest titles in its long history.
