Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy Walkthrough Part 2: Something's Gone Wrong (Leonov Boss Fight)
2Having made it into the central part of The Movement's base, Sceyer reawakens another one of his abilities that allows him to top up the energy for his psychic powers by extracting the energy from others' minds. As he progresses through the base to meet up with Sara at its storage warehouse, Scryer finds out that the captured UN soldiers imprisoned at the base are undergoing alterations into "Meat Puppets", The Movement's brainwashed footsoldiers with the entire facility actually serving to create them under the command of The Movement lieutenant and Soviet psionic Jov Leonov who excels in mind control and is capable of commanding all Meat Puppets at once. After making it into the storage warehouse, Scryer meets Sara who gives him explosive charges to set around the base's key structural weakpoints to destroy it. However, as he makes his way into the base's cryogenic storage, Scryer comes face-to-face with Leonov himself who reveals to have been rendered blind by his powers and is able to use the altered soldiers as his "eyes" before opening the room's cryogenic pods to release Meat Puppets within. In the ensuing fight, Scryer is able to destroy all pods and engage Leonov himself in an fight. While Leonov easily gains the upper hand by taking control of Scryer's mind and nearly forces him to shoot himself through the head with his own handgun, he is saved as the bomb he had planted in the room detonates with Leonov being caught in the blast. With only two minutes left until the remaining explosives go off, Scryer is forced to run to the base's indoor helipad for an extraction by Sara. Once there, he is confronted by The General who recognizes him, claiming that Scryer was the best agent he had ever trained, perplexing Nick as his memories of working for Mindgate, let alone training under an terrorist leader, haven't come back. With The General escaping the collapsing base via VTOL, Scryer is picked up by Sara who has commandeered an helicopter with two leaving just as the bombs finally detonate...
