0As he rushes towards Connors' class, Spider-Man is sidetracked again as he prevents the theft of an briefcase from the passerby. By the time he arrives, class has already ended with Peter catching Connors on his way out and being told that he will have to shape up unless he wants to fail the class. That same evening, Peter meets up with his friends, Harry Osborn and Mary-Jane Watson to celebrate his birthday, although their meeting is tense as Peter's habit of running late caused by his obligations as Spider-Man is negatively affecting his relationships and Harry is still convinced that Spider-Man was the one who murdered his father two years earlier and thus, desires revenge, unaware that Peter and Spider-Man are the same person. Following day, Peter stops more criminals as Spider-Man and even ends up delivering pizzas before meeting up with Mary-Jane that evening. During the meeting, Peter is told that Mary-Jane is seeing someone else, but is sidetracked as he notices a gang of thugs breaking into an nearby art gallery, prompting him to excuse himself to stop them. Upon subduing all criminals within the gallery, Spider-Man encounters an female burglar who proceeds to escape over the rooftops, forcing Spider-Man to chase her. However, she ultimately slips away...
