An interesting but flawed doujin puzzle game based on an obscure visual novel called "Mizuiro" (or "The Color of Water") which was released back in 2001 by NekoNeko Soft. This doujin game, called "PazuMizu" for short, was released in 2005. The game features the main females of Mizuiro such as Kenji's adoptive sister, Yuki Katase, Hiyori Hayasaka, etc., but their differences are merely cosmetic and do not affect the gameplay, so you can play with your favorite as you choose.

The game is basically a line-clearing puzzler like Tetris, but with several twists. The most prominent difference is that all tiles, regardless of how they're presented to you, can be altered to suit your needs as you see fit by using any of three buttons to expand the left, middle, or right. You might wonder how anyone can get any sort of challenge out of this game with such a feature present. Well, another feature is that you are always forced to use a certain area of the screen, usually only having the upper half to work with (though you can extend into cracks and such to access lower areas), which can become difficult to utilize once the speed picks up. Next, you'll want to leave small holes as cleared lines can make excess "water" drip down and cause chains. Higher chains reveal more artworks of the character you've chosen (which freeze after a certain point). Lastly, there is "Synchro Chain Point" which determines how much you can extend your water mass. The larger it is, the more points you lose. As you make eliminations, you get some points back. If you run low on points, you cannot move as quickly and your mass can't be as large. The game plays slightly similar to "Quarth", though its true inspirations was from games like Namco's "Aqua Rush" (Japan-only).

The game is initially addictive but gets boring pretty quickly tbh as the game has a "Goal" which can be reached, but either by a flaw or design fault, it is almost impossible to access and the main site no longer has any download patches for the game. You'd have to play for a really long time to even get halfway on the bar, and you'll probably be too bored to reach the end. The controls are also touchy due to almost no wait between receiving tiles (except through chains). This can cause you to make really stupid mistakes at high speeds because you have little screen area as it is to work with. The game has simple graphics and good audio. This is a video of the game in action.
