This 3D arcade shoot 'em up was an updated version of Success Corporation's Pysvariar (AKA Saivaria): Medium Unit. The game ran on Taito's G-Net arcade hardware.

Game play takes place in the depths of outer space, with players battling an assortment of alien spacecraft, including giant enemy warships. Later battles actually lead to land, such as a desert stage, and another alien planet flowing with lava, among others.

This game originally launched to arcades in Japan back in 2000, and was later ported to the Sony Playstation 2 console as well.

Updated sequels, including Psyvariar: Delta have since been released for both PC and Nintendo Switch.
