It is unusual for a game studio to announce a game before development even begins. CDPR has announced a new Witcher game. There are no details on who will be the protagonist in this story, or when or where the story will take place, but we do know that the Polish game studio is dropping their in-house developed engine for Unreal Engine 5. CDPR is entering a partnership with Epic Games to better equip the Unreal Engine for making open-world games.
