0The first official mission pack for Quake II, this time placing players in the view of another fellow Marine from the TCM. Here, his main goal is to infiltrate and destroy the Strogg Moon Base. The campaign is made up of 6 (mostly) lengthy units in this expansion. There are also new enemies introduced, two of are completely new to this game. Three new weapons are introduced; the Ion Ripper, which fire bouncing energy boomerangs, the Phalanx, a double-barrelled explosive slug launcher, and the Trap, which is laid on the ground and kills an enemy who gets close to it. There is also a new powerup called the "Dualfire Damage" which doubles your damage and firerate. The 2023 remaster also includes a flashlight that can be toggled. Yeah, I thought it was just me when I first played that version...
