The Feral variant are universally blind, thus the infection alters the structure and sensitivity of the Feral's ears. Those with chemical substances that make them frenetic and unable to sit still will become much the same as one of the dreaded undead.
These poor creatures violently scratch and batter against barriers in attempt to get at their prey or upon finding them, rending them with jagged and broken, boney claws and shard of teeth.
