Rad Racer longplay (NES) *Emulator capture*
5My channel finally made history - I finally produced a retro game playthrough video in full glory without being hindered by my personal limitations/issues and used an emulator to bypass the infamous problem (No, this not a capture card)!
The game here is Rad Racer, the well-known arcade-style racing game on the NES that was ironically made by the same company that created Final Fantasy: Square Enix! This title is also my 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 game (if not Excitebike) in actual hardware, played at only age 2. Now, 27 years later, I am doing a longplay of it!
Because of the difficulty of using a chromebook's keyboard for the controls and the game itself is tough (as with MANY NES games), I am forced to cheat with a Game Genie code to drastically increase the time limit to 255 seconds rather than 45 to prevent myself constantly losing, but everything else remains untouched.

Fun fact: The red car is a 1980s Ferrari 328 Twin Turbo, and the opponent cars are also real vehicles from that time, such as the Chevrolet Corvette for example.
