Random PVP gameplay of Seven Deadly Sins - Grand Cross (iOS/Android game)
0Playing and recording some PVP of a mobile game. It had to be tested when I found this screen recording feature in my phone! Pretty average results with 2 losses and 3 wins.
If you haven't played the game before, it's basically card battles. The hand you get is RNG based on which characters you use. Gear affects all sorts of variables greatly and unit colors are rock-paper-scissors style, giving either advantage or disadvantage. My whole team is red, which is weak against blue units and strong against greens. However, that doesn't mean green characters can't wreck me. I'm not going to explain the specifics here any further.
As the game is "gacha" / heavily pay-to-win, and I haven't spent any money on stuff that gives advantages in game, I'm heavily outgeared by the opponents in every match-up in this video. Combat Class is a rough estimation of how well upgraded and how good quality items they are: my team is 121k CC and the opponents are all over 140k. My answer to this is having very tanky life leech team and low quality easy-to-upgrade characters. Only the lean fellow (Gowther) on the right is SSR quality character and the rest are R and SR, which have easy to obtain ultimate move upgrades (but low base stats in comparison). My SSR char has no upgrades, but the rest have maxed out ultimates, narrowing the disadvantage I have in gear quality a little bit.
The current "meta" PVP team is that (blue) King, (red) Gowther and (green) Escanor with (green) Merlin in the backline that I fight against couple times here. I have a decent chance against that particular setup if they don't get very lucky with cards - there's just nothing I can do against those petrify/attack-disable-spam teams (King, Helbram, Gowther for example) with this unit composition. I have no dispel nor debuff immunity skills/passives.
Another small thing worth noting is that you can eat buff food that improves stats (among other things), but I only use food that results in more currency if I win the fight. The other players aren't usually gentlemen like that, unfortunately!
