Ranger-X (Gen)
94Ranger-X was developed by Gau Entertainment and released in 1993. You only have to see the game in action to realize how special it is. The game mixes a fast paced Run 'N Gun with a futuristic Shoot 'Em Up and does so while delivering some of the best graphics to be seen on the old 16-bit Sega. Sure, it's not perfect and there can be a lot of sprite flicker at times. But overall it's a very good looking, action packed shooter with some really unique controls and with 4 difficulty levels, the hardcore gamers can show off their skills.
Oh yeah, and guess what? It's another exclusive for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive!
Once again this ones pretty easy to recommend for the Sega fans. If you like frantic shooters you'll like this one just fine. Best of all it's not too hard to track down for a low price.
