Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal: Part 12: Helga's VR Gadget Training
5After the mission on Tyhrannosis was accomplished, Ratchet & Clank returned to the Starship Phoenix so that Ratchet could tell Sasha (and Skid) HIS story on what happened on that planet.
Unfortunately, Dr. Nefarious & Lawrence interferred with the gathering via hologram. Nefarious wasn't impressed with Qwark's Q-Force, but he had more SERIOUS plans stored for (Secret Agent) Clank.
Ratchet contacted Al to see where Nefarious's hologram came from, and it turned out to be somewhere on Planet Daxx (Daxx... that sounds familar...).
From there, Al also had an ad to show of Nefarious' precense on this planet and the super-weapon he and Lawrence was building there.
Looks like it was time to head to Daxx and stop this!

However, before this could be done, Ratchet & Clank went to Helga for some new gadgets. She wouldn't let them have her gadgets until they completed her training course.
The first of these Gadgets is the Hypershot. It fuses R&C1's Swingshot with R&C2's Dynamo, so you can use it to swing across bottomless pits as well as generate platforms at certain spots.
The Hacker is the same gadget that Skid (a.k.a. Shadow Dude) was using on Aquatos. You use it to unlock certain doors by using a tractor beam to collect green code snippets while firing a cannon against red defense programs. There will also be blue defenses that can't be destroyed.
If you can't get to something because of a blue defense, you should pass the time by collecting green snippets and destroy red defenses in a different row until the row you were on is clear of the blue defenses.
You will go through multiple stages with their own score quotas. If you lose in a stage, you'll only have to start that one over.

No matter how long you take with the Hypershot and the Hacker, Helga will always think of you as a slowpoke. At least you'll get another Titanium Bolt out of this.
