RE2 Remake (Pt 4): When Mr.X Enters the Scene, Neo's Quality of Life Nosedives
2[BLIND LET'S PLAY]
Sherry has been taken away by Chief Irons, and the only way to go after them is to open the gate to the underground parking lot of the RPD. With his objective clear, Neo gets to work by exploring the basement of the RPD. He finds more keys to open up other areas of the RPD, and eventually he finds his way back up tot he first floor of the building, and from there Neo does lots and lots of backtracking as he scavenges for any supplies he can find. When he comes across the burning chopper that crashed into one of the hallways, Neo uses a nearby water tower to put out the flames, but not sure how he'll get around it he decides to try going into the hallway its stuck in to see what he can do.
But the second that Neo approaches the chopper, a tall, imposing figure LIFTS the chopper out of its way, stares at Neo for a second, then begins walking towards him with clearly malicious intent. Neo, having played the original RE2, immediately recognizes the creature, the infamous "Mr. X" (whom he affectionately calls "Big Green"). Realizing that he doesn't have enough firepower to take Mr. X on, Neo promptly begins fleeing from the creature, but it quickly becomes apparent to Neo thar Mr. X has some new tricks up his sleeve besides showing up a lot sooner than Neo expected him to.
That's when Neo realizes that his objective to search the RPD for the keycard he needs to unlock the gate to the underground parking lot has suddenly become A LOT more complicated...
