Reacting With Empathy (Chapter 4)
Discussion of chapter 4 in my book Understanding and Helping Suicidal Teens: Therapeutic Strategies For Parents & Teens.
Adolescent suicide is a national public health concern. It is the 10th leading cause of death for adults and the 2nd leading cause of death for teens between ages 15 and 24 years old.
Sadly, parents and teachers remain perplexed about adolescent suicide and how to help. They lack skills and insight into useful tools that are practical and easy to understand.
