Welcome back to the recording guide! This week, I'll be showing you how I write a drum track and some simple humanising tips!
You could just as easily program all the drums to be hit as hard as possible, but I don't personally like how that sounds. Making the drums sound human, especially in a metal mix is very important. The idiosyncracies of a drummer are something that's hard to nail digitally, but it can be done!
