Copper looks good. Let's recycle some from old broken electric motors into usable materials for other projects! To get there I tried to first cast copper ingots and then forge them to size.
From experience with other metal cast like aluminum I was afraid of voids and imperfection caused by trapped gas in the molten metal but I am very pleased to observe there are none in this copper billet. It's pretty much flawless and ready to be used!
