This video starts where I left off on Chapter 4, with a very easy method for the excavator sequence. I didnt discover this through playing but read it somewhere. When I play through games its a mix of things I discover through trial and error and things I find in videos or text.

For this easy method, just stay crouched on the excavator and use the plasma gun. Move back and forth but stay within the front plate of the gate so you dont expose yourself. Fire through the the front plate to kill shit. The video illustrates this method.

I got it on the second try after reading about this method. Prior to that I spent over 2 hours on this part yesterday.
