"Packed Yurin Pork"
■Ingredients (Serves 2)
・250g Thinly Sliced Pork Belly
・50g Lettuce
・1 Tablespoon Sake
・1/2 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
・2 Tablespoons Potato Starch
・2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
☆Sauce
・10cm (30g) Green Onion
・1 Clove Ginger
・1 Clove Garlic
・1 Tablespoon Sugar
・1 1/2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
・1 1/2 Tablespoons Vinegar
・1/2 Tablespoon Sesame Oil
■Procedure
(1) Finely chop the green onion and ginger. Cut the garlic in half lengthwise, remove the core, and finely chop.
(2) Add the ingredients marked with ☆ to a bowl and mix (for the sauce).
(3) Place the pork, still in its package, in a frying pan. Add sake and soy sauce and knead until combined, taking care not to lose the shape. Coat the entire surface with potato starch. Add salad oil to the remaining space in a frying pan and heat over medium heat. Cook for about 5 minutes until crispy. Turn over and cook for another 5 minutes until crispy and the meat is cooked through.
(4) Remove from the frying pan and cut into bite-sized pieces.
(5) Tear the lettuce and spread it on a serving dish, then top with the pork from step 3. Pour the sauce over the lettuce. (You can also use shredded cabbage or daikon radish sprouts instead of lettuce, if desired.)
