4So after those creepy villagers left with the bell, Leon called Hunnigan to confirm that one of his cops was slain by a burning stake. For now, it's time to head towards a tower for the mission to save Ashley!
By the way, it was what I'll call the "Piss Cop" that was burned by the stake like a pork roast. What happened to the "Smoke Cop"...?

Besides the farm animals, this village should be empty of enemies, now, so try exploring it and find some ammo and items to collect.
Remember that in Resident Evil, you can eat Green Herbs to increase your health. If you can bring it to full if you have Mixed Green & Red Herbs or Triple Mixed Green Herbs.
There are also Yellow Herbs that can be mixed and eaten with Green Herbs to permanently raise your max health. OR you can just mix Green, Red and Yellow together to get all of their effects at once!
You can also find some notes in this game that explain more of the game's story from within. One of these notes takes note that Leon is on his way through this rural village to find Ashley, and how he must be stopped before he finds her location. However, the writer is weary of a third-party involved with this that they need to deal with, as well.

I eventually reach the farm, where there are more of those creepy villagers to kill. Sometimes, the chickens will lay eggs that you can pick up as food items.
There's a blue note here that talks about Blue Medallions. Someone wants you to take out at least 10 of these for a reward, but who and where are they...?
Some treasures are standalone and can be sold on their own. Other treasures have more value when they're first combined with something else.
For one example, there's a Pearl Pendant you can find dangling above, but right under it is a VERY filthy well of manure. You should first close that well, and then shoot down the Pearl Pendant to pick it up with getting it dirty.
In the farm area, there's a container called a Beerstein. It can be combined with different colored Catseye jewels to raise its value. However, in this playthrough, I forgot to get the Red Catseye.
Other treasures, such as Spinels and Emeralds, should always just be sold whenever you can as they can't be combined with anything.

Further through a village and down some stairs, those villagers will roll a huge boulder at Leon. Engage in a Quick Time Event to outrun it and dodge it before it crushes him!
These QTEs will happen almost entirely without warning, so get your fingers ready to react to the right commands, or face a sudden death!
