Previously on the Trismegistus Academy: Jake Tagen of the Maverick class at TAHE, the Trismegistus Academy for Heroic Enlightenment, made a deal with a student from the Ludum Academy for Fearsome Fighters, or the LAFF, named Alsaya Laughmani.
She is desperate to escape Elloise Ludum’s school as the students are treated horribly and risk being killed if they can’t keep up, but Jake suggested that she remain at the school so that she can help him take down Ludum. They don’t have much in the way of a plan yet, but the intention is to build a roster of allies within LAFF and at TAHE without the faculty knowing to help in the budding scheme.
Alsaya returned to her school after pretending to fight with Jake at TAHE while Ludum Academy students were visiting. Fellow Maverick student, Zenith, attacked Alsaya during this fight, not knowing it was a ruse. Zenith is not happy with Headmistress Evangeline Trismegistus for making an agreement for TAHE students and Ludum’s students to compete in sports-like superhero competitions as he was once forced to fight to the death in one of Elloise Ludums combat arenas before she started her academy.
Jake may not know how exactly this plan is going to come together, but he hopes that it will help him achieve his ultimate goal of someday creating and leading the Multiverse’s greatest team of superheroes.
