Restoring 1943 GREEN LANTERN - 76 YEAR OLD RAILROAD LANTERN RESTORATION
6,787In this video i am restoring an old green railroad lantern which is 76 years old. If you look closely you can read the numbers on the side of the lantern (i forgot to make a close-up from them).
The lantern has 3 different colors which are white, red and green.
The inscriptions say 'Wakefields 1943 Birmingham' and it was used in WWII.
I decided to keep all the original parts because they didn't look worse enough to replace them with new ones, and i also think that keeping the original parts gives the project just that little extra respect for this old vintage lantern ! :)
