After a long break, me and Kazooie continued to explore the depths of this infamous game. So here are some more glitches we found or accidentally stumbled upon while playing it.

0:00 - this is Ride on Enemies: Retribution! For some reason Jack is allowed to stand on other characters if he can just drop on them from a height. If you don't press any buttons, the ride lasts indefinitely too, with Jack being carried and swapped randomly on top of the thugs swarming around him. It's a natural marvel of various game mechanics coming together in an incidental, unintended way!

This reminded me of the enemy riding glitch in Silent Hill: Homecoming, and I was curious if, like in Homecoming, you could manipulate the thugs to carry Jack to a specific direction by subtle aiming or other movement. But this seemed kind of difficult to do. Even the smallest movement has the risk of dropping Jack off the enemy, plus the enemies work as a swarm and seem to be too erratic and fast to control.

0:44 - doing a brutality to an enemy while riding an enemy. The cutscene doesn't seem to effect Jack's coordinates at all, so the enemy riding continues afterwards as if nothing at all had happened.

1:11 - just some extra messing around with this glitch.

1:48 - we tried what happens if you beat the fight while standing next to the automatically opening door. It turns out Jack will zip upwards as he gets squeezed between the wall and the door.

2:19 - a speed tactic. If you run sideways while Jack has his gun out (either shooting or reloading), he moves at sprinting speed without actually draining any stamina. So you can use this tactic to complement Jack's limited sprint to get further at maximum speed.

2:41 - we were trying the running attack glitch again, when we got a mysterious black screen after killing last enemy in the area. Is it supposed to be some stylish bullet cam, except glitched up?

2:59 - a buffer glitch. If you press any button while examining the level select menu, the buffer for it becomes stuck indefinitely. So in this instance, pressing "shoot" while examining the menu, Jack keeps shooting while the menu is active. And even after closing the menu he will keep endlessly shooting and wasting bullets until you press "shoot" again to end the buffer glitch.

3:25 - a few menu glitches. If you talk to drug dealer and open menu at a correct timing, the Pause-menu subtly glitches up. When you try to choose options from it or close it, another Pause-menu opens up instantly afterwards, causing a graphical oddity with the selector.

3:48 - another outcome is that Pause-menu opens up but gameplay continues in the background. But so far this seems to be harmless.

4:10 - while skipping cutscenes and spamming Pause, we managed to open up a Pause-menu that has code on it instead of the usual level-specific Pause-menu message.
