The original Forbidden Siren has two different "Attract Mode" videos that you can watch by waiting in the main menu for a little while. I think most people don't know about their existence, hence this video.

The first one is nothing too special. It just shows basic gameplay elements with different characters.

The second, however, is quite fascinating, as it shows the player hints how to complete a few of Siren's legendarily obtuse sub-objectives or Mission 2's. I think you can only see this second intro if you have loaded your save file and then quit back to main menu, so it's kind of hidden.

Siren is a type of game that rewards the hyper-attentive, and sometimes hints can be found from the strangest of places. But in an Attract Mode-video? I think that's a first.

A list of sub-objectives that appear in the intro:

1:05 - Kyoya D2 01:00, taking Miyako to storeroom. Necessary for sub-objective.

1:17 - Kei D1 12:00, showing the dial lock via Sightjack. Necessary for Mission 2.

1:25 - Reiko D1 02:00, hiding Harumi in a closet to get the sub-objective.

1:32 - Akira D1 16:00. I'm not entirely sure about this one, but I think the video suggests a speed tactic for Mission 2 for the player. If the player only shoots the female Shibito at the start, then Yoriko will be closer to Akira when you rescue her and the level can be completed faster.

1:43 - Shiro D1 03:00. Shows a Shibito hiding the nurse's shoe, which is necessary to find in Mission 2.

1:53 - Tamon D1 02:00. Shows that it's possible, in right circumstances, to shoot a Shibito down the well (sub-objective).
