For a reason or another, most of Chapter 7, 8 and 9 don't have very many noteworthy glitched Pause-menu results, other than psycho-LMS, but that was already covered in another video. So I rolled the best stuff from all three Chapters into a single video. Here goes:

0:00 - Chapter 7-14. Intro stretch makes the camera stay at its initial position for a while. Meanwhile, enemies notice Max and start firing at him, but he is invulnerable during this time. Eventually the intro resolves and gameplay starts as normal.

0:35 - Chapter 7-16. Intro stretch makes the cutscene camera stay at its initial position for quite a while. Enemies attack Max, but he seems to be invulnerable at the moment. Eventually things get back to normal.

1:03 - Chapter 7-17. Resuming while exploding gives you a glitched color palette, and once the game over menu comes up, you are able retry earlier than normal. In this instance Max is instantly blown away a second time, and he simply dies so hard that the game softlocks.

1:24 - Chapter 8-2. Intro stretch makes the intro longer. Max stays passive and can't be controlled for maybe 30 extra seconds as enemies start shooting at him. However, they won't do any damage right now. After that, the intro resolves and gameplay continues as normal.

1:49 - Chapter 8-10. Intro stretch makes the intro camera stay at its initial position for a pretty long while. After that, it moves in on Max and the Checkpoint begins proper.

2:12 - Chapter 9-1. Just to show the effect you get if you have a buffered Pause-menu in the background. The Pause-menu pops up right as gameplay would normally begin. If you retry, Max's animation resets in a weird way and the retry won't occur until after some seconds have passed. Wonder what's up with that. But yeah, so far nothing too useful.

2:41 - Chapter 9-4. Intro stretch makes camera stay at its initial position for 20 seconds or so. During this time the cop will notice Max and starts shooting at him, but Max won't take damage until the intro resolves.

3:03 - Chapter 9-7. Resuming during the intro causes a bizarre effect: The camera zooms in very close to the helicopter as the thug shooting a rocket at Max cutscene begins. The cutscene progresses in arduous slow motion, and eventually the game continues from the point where a rocket is flying at Max.

3:38 - Chapter 9-7. Resuming during rocket shooting scene resets and delays it. This looks strange towards the end as the camera and cops disappear mysteriously, and they are still absent as gameplay continues. Since Max can't shoot the rocket to save his life, he gets blown to bits.

3:55 - Chapter 9-7. (Retrying works during the rocket shooting scene, although there is some strange audio playing in the background.) Afterwards, when the set piece reaches the point of the rocket being shot again, Max mysteriously dies. (But after that the glitch is over, with no other noticeable side effects.)

4:09 - Chapter 9-7. Stretching rocket shooting scene gives you a better view of how the helicopter suddenly disappears. The delay before gameplay continues is also longer. But otherwise the effect is the same, and Max has no choice but to explode.

4:37 - Chapter 9-10. Intro stretch makes camera stuck to its initial position for a while. Meanwhile, enemies walk to the positions where they'll instantly notice Max once gameplay starts.
