Rise of the Tomb Raider: Blood Ties - Croft Manor madness
16Various weird things and a bit of OoB sightseeing at the Croft Manor.
0:00 - sometimes when you hold to a direction and spam jump after picking up important gear Lara does a freakishly long jump for some reason. This is one example from after picking up Flashlight.
0:17 - another example after picking up the lighter.
0:33 - if you leave the Study via OoB during post-game, the main hall is currently unloaded. It has no collision and looks very... spacey.
0:51 - on one run attempt, the Crypt had no lighting inside it, making it look particularly eerie and cool.
1:13 - some more OoBs around the Croft Manor. Here's a third post-game Study OoB that is done by jumping against the cupboard to the right of the big drawing board type thing. You are surrounded by a lot of wall while in OoB, so you can't go very far from here. However, dropping straight down, you can reach the secret room.
1:45 - a third wall breach in the main hall. It's very very rare (I've only managed to do it once), but you can get right underneath the main staircase by jumping against the wall under the stairs from the east side. Yeah, this would save a bit of time in the any% run, but good luck ever doing it again!
1:58 - an useless OoB in the Atelier. By jumping against the cramped space behind the large piano, you can sometimes breach wall and drop down. But there's nothing in this direction out of bounds, so...
2:10 - using one of the Study OoBs, you can go around the Study and reach a small 2nd floor balcony to the side. It's a nice OoB area to explore, but it doesn't seem to lead anywhere useful.
2:42 - coming to the Crypt / Main Hall area using the Library OoB, there is some weird OoB area loaded above Lara's head. You can barely reach it with jumps. It looks a bit like some unfinished courtyard that has no texture on it.
Jumping out of the window, there's a very wide plateau of green OoB hills you can roam and wander around in. Ah, this is what it means to be free!
4:31 - doing things in the wrong order, Lara can sometimes brush off dust from the non-existing wall in front of the Crypt doorway.
