RUNNING AND GUNNING | Let's Play Cuphead - Part 2
0We made it through the first Inkwell Isle area. Let's see if we can make our way through the next boss that we were stuck on all that time as I know I can do it but I just need to get lucky with what minions spawn as well as ensuring that I have enough health to be able to do what I want.
Trophy/Achievement Timestamps
54:54 - Parry Performance Trophy/Achievement - You will most likely get this as you play the game due to the fact that parry will allow you to not take damage from pink enemies as well as boosting your energy for your more powerful moves. If you end up completing the game without getting these then you can load the tutorial where you will have infinite chances at being able to parry however if you struggle with the traditional parry you can try any of the plane levels as those will only require you to press the parry button when you need to do it. If you have access to the DLC then Ms. Chalice comes with a better parry in her repertoire which you can also do. Additionally there are several Mausoleum levels that require you to parry ghosts and you don't have to worry about taking damage yourself. When you have completed 100 parries you will unlock this trophy/achievement.
1:25:51 - A Walk In The Park Trophy/Achievement - This is story related and unmissable. You will unlock this trophy/achievement after you have defeated every boss in Inkwell Isle I.
1:25:55 - Perfect Run Trophy/Achievement - You can actually get this at the start of the game if you are able to get the Heart charm by using some of the coins you have. As long as you don't drop below 3 hearts you will be able to get this despite getting hit so you will get some leeway when it comes to being hit. The easiest fight to do this on would be Goopy Le Grande which is the first boss in Inkwell Isle I. The first phase you just need to dash under him after each jump and then duck when he does the next move. Phase 2 is very much more of the same however they are larger. Then once you get to the final phase simply run back and forth between left and right while holding diagonal which will allow you to avoid the boss as well as hit it. When it is about to fall use your dash to escape before getting hit. Once you have completed a level without being hit you will unlock this trophy/achievement.
