What you'll see here is Round 01 of many versions of this Arcade classic (including the Arcade), for Rounds 02-20 of the NES version, check my video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xWiy1C52dg Go to 1:14 of the video you're currently watching for Round 01 of the NES version which is also the 1st part of my walkthrough for the NES version. Should you save your quarters on this game and play it at home or should you play it at the Arcade? The choice is yours, but you will probably save your quarters either way since Arcades are dying and nearly all good old Arcade cabinets won't be found at the next intersection. Now, Bubble Bobble is this timeless classic that a lot of gamers know. I bet most of you know this from the Arcades or from the NES, but ports were made for: Amstrad CPC, Apple II, Atari ST, Commodore 64, Commodore Amiga, FM Towns Marty, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Mobiles, MSX, Nintendo DS, Nintendo Entertainment System (and Famicom Disk System), PC (DOS), PC (Windows), PlayStation, PlayStation 2, Sega Game Gear, Sega Master System, Sega Saturn, Sharp X68000, Sinclair ZX Spectrum and Xbox. This is quite a list, but it seems that everytime they make a port, they just can't get the controls right. The Arcade remains the best for me, but I'd say that the Nintendo Entertainment System and Sega Master System versions are close enough on all aspects and are good to get for home consoles since they're not bad at all. I don't recommend the handheld versions though, they all suck one way or another. One last thing, when I say that the sounds are not too good in the new version on the GBA, it's just that I don't like the new composition they made around the classic tune, it sounded great the way it was and it didn't need that much orchestration around it. Don't forget, if you have requests like for a video game walkthrough or something, just ask here or on my channel or even by sending me a message and if I can make it, there are good chances that I will.
