Scanner Sombre is a unique First Person Cave Crawling Adventure.
Instead of seeing the cave, you have a scanner and "VR" Glasses, that show you the result and save it. So the scanner throws particles forward in a cone of different diameters, that you can choose.
The smaller the cone is, the more particles fly at that area and you get a clearer picture, the wider the cone is, the faster you reveal the area, but with less details.

To make sure, you still see whats close and whats far, the color of the shown particles are warmer (red) the closer they are to you and get colder (blue) the further away they are.

So you travel like this in the pitch black cave into the unknown. But at some point the scanner freaks out and scans a person. In a text the character you're playing tells (thinks), that these shadow are a bug and still not fixed. So you have these freakout moments a few times, like the person is following you.
