This is all chat's fault. I normally stick to playing fun, chill indie games, but I added some more ... let's say "emotionally demanding" games as stretch goals during our fundraiser for Stack Up and chat hit them all. I already played NOGOA (The Long Dark in extra hard mode) to a personal best, and now we move on to Darkest Dungeon. This is my first playthrough, so there's a lot of finding my way, experimenting with curios and builds, and complaining about my team's lack of accuracy.

More grinding loot and XP, more Veteran dungeons, and one more go-around with the Hag. We're almost a year into this run and, barring a rash of deaths, about done with leveling up heroes in Apprentice dungeons. The 'Experienced Recruits' upgrade on the Stagecoach has mostly been a dud, but a Level 2 Crusader with all skills unlocked and fully upgraded seems like a decent hire. The Collector makes another appearance to serve his important role as a loot pinata, and the Hag fight (55:00) goes fairly well despite our Bounty Hunter leaving on death's door. The step up to Champion dungeons is close at hand, but first I'd like to clear out as many Veteran-tier bosses as possible. Those Very Rare trinkets will get harder to acquire from here.
