This game is actually officially known as The G.G. Shinobi II: The Silent Fury, but most people just call it Shinobi 2 for Game Gear. It seems like a really cool game, and I only played maybe 10 minutes of it.

The soundtrack was composed by the legendary Yuzo Koshiro, who made the music for the original Shinobi games on Sega Genesis as well as for the Streets of Rage titles.

But hey, here are some secret codes. For each of these codes, go to the CONTINUE screen, enter the password, then hold 1 and 2 as you press START.

EDA00 - Start with 5 Ninjas and 9 Ninjutsu
EDA10 - Access the sound test screen!
EDA20 - Skip to the game's ending.

These passwords are an homage to one of the game's programmers, Tadashi Eda.
