Years before we had a genre dedicated to tower defense, we had a bunch of maps dedicated to castle defense. At some point we lost a bunch of parts of the castle and were left with a tower, which in turn shows that defending things is probably a waste of time. Better to charge wildly at things while yelling about the Alamo.


This is a good example that TeamFortress has more custom maps out there than CTF, unlike say Threewave Capture which specialized in said map type.
