In this series, Chris Perrella gives an introduction to using the ShaderFX node-based shader editor within Maya LT. Following up on his previous beginner-level videos, Chris walks through the creation of a more complex shader. He creates a blend shader using a heightmap and vertex information, a technique that can be used in CryENGINE, Unity, and Unreal.
