Welcome everybody! To Let's play Sheltered - gameplay – part 2. Welcome to the Dyinamites Family Shelter! The basic furniture in the shelter is in place. We got a little toilet we got a improved workbench to make better quality tier items such as better shower or better beds, better bags and also a better water butt a key element in survival in Sheltered. Even tho after a few scavenging missions in to the wild lands of Sheltered we have acquired a little bit of food to help us last and the rains even tho are small are still present we don’t have that much problem with food and water. However we need to think forward. The set-tlements in Sheltered are quite far away from our shelter and we can’t relay on scavenging all the time the same places. The search areas like schools, farms, house are a good bet to find food but items respawn in Sheltered quite slow. We need a better more secured source of food and its additional bonus if the food will be unlimited. Technically there is a way to find an unlimited food in Sheltered but for that we will need a little bit of parts and as much upgraded workbench in our shelter as that is possible. With it we can make snare traps – the better the workbench the better items we can make and such we can make better snared traps thanks to the workbench on tier two the items required for building a trap are more expensive but the trap will last longer! But that is not our only issue we can't just capture animals outside of our shelter and eat them raw. To gather food in Sheltered we need to have a freezer – the freezer will alow us to capture the animals that we can catch in our snare traps and later we can use the stove to cook the raw meat and feed our family in Shel-tered. However the items in Sheltered that we can find in the ruins of cities are random and sometimes we may not find the right parts we need to make the furniture we need. The bet-ter items such as shower or bed the more advance items we will need. But there is also an-other way around this issue. IF we can’t find the items we need in Sheltered there is a chance we can trade for them! Now what we can use for trading ? We need the materials from scavenging in Sheltered to build up the shelter we need food to eat so what are the items we can trade ? Well there is always water! We can make a good big supply of water and use one of the family members to keep broadcasting for traders those in Sheltered often have a big supply of needed items such as plastic, hinges, springs, wood, metal and other useful items that are quite hard to find at the beginning of Sheltered but are needed for the more advance items made in the work bench! The water is unlimited in Sheltered the only way to limit our water income is short storage or slow filtration system of our shelter. We can solve the storage problem using the water butts but for that we will need plastic and that on the other hand is quite easy to find at the beginning of Sheltered. The animals we can catch we can also harvest leather that can be used to craft better bags and we can later use the bags for our scavenging teams and even maybe sell the leather to the trades can we can find for the resources we need.
