Sherlock Holmes VS Jack the Ripper (Part 10): Looking for a Butcher's Shop
34Part 10 of 16, of a walkthrough for "Sherlock Holmes VS Jack the Ripper". In this part, Holmes and Watson explore Dr. Tumblety's apartment, which contains an unfairly difficult puzzle that requires players to know dates, flags and uniforms related to the American Civil War. Solving this puzzle confirms Squibby's claim that Dr. Tumblety has a collection of female body parts.
At this point, Holmes and Watson learn that Jack the Ripper has just committed a double murder. The first murder is next to the pub that Holmes visited. Holmes decides to ignore the murders. He goes home and does nothing for a week.
After Watson complains, Holmes tells Watson to rent out a butcher shop and get pig heads. Lucy tells Watson where Fletcher's butcher shop is. The shop is closed due to illness. Dr. Gibbons confirms the illness and says Mr. Hardiman, the cat food seller, is running the shop in Fletcher's absence. Danny tells Watson where Hardiman lives and explains that Hardiman's wife and daughter died recently.
Watson goes to where Hardiman lives. Hardiman makes Watson fetch two different keys, before giving Watson access to the butcher's shop. Disgustingly, Hardiman does butcher work in the upstairs hallway of his building.
