Showdown in the Square S3 Pt2 Let's Play Dark Souls 3 (Blind)
3The giant knight in the square can be a little odd to dodge but there is a bright side, if you're having trouble with this thing and are determined to kill it like me it's possible to soften it up first. Whether that be with arrows, firebombs, or even magic if you have it.
It does seem to have some kind of faith based attack that reminds me of something out of a Tales game with pillars of light bursting out of the ground. Dodging it, seems to be tricky but I'd suggest just rolling away from it.
The other tough enemy I found was the red eyed knight making a return all the way back from Demon Souls. Thankfully a backstab is handed to you on a silver platter here, simply do so and swing wildly and you'll nearly if not outright kill it. Watch out for it's 2 hand swipe, it CRUSHES this early in the game. So for goodness' sake conserve some stamina to either dodge or block it. A crushed guard is better than a crushed skull.
