Skip to the Second Quest in The Legend of Zelda (NES) - Retrogaming Easter Eggs #shorts
In The Legend of Zelda for the Nintendo Entertainment System, normally when you beat the game for the first time, you will be told that "another quest" will begin after the game's credits. This "second quest" as most people call it is basically an entirely different version of the game, and is far more challenging than the first quest.
The 2nd Quest has new layouts for every dungeon, tougher enemies early on, and the dungeons themselves are in different places all over the world - even though the overworld remains largely unchanged. It's an awesome way to experience The Legend of Zelda all over again, and not enough people know it exists!
But if you'd like to skip straight to the Second Quest without having to beat the First Quest, simply enter the name ZELDA as you register a new file. You will see that this file has a sword icon next to it, indicating that you can begin playing from the Second Quest.
I've known about this cheat code since I was like three years old, so idk how I haven't made a short video about it until now.
