Slidecasting on Trainingwheels. I don't think it gets much easier than this for the average player.

Slidecasting is something we all love and enjoy, especially anything that uhh-- casts.

So for today’s video I’m going to share a really neat trick to keep track of slidecasting that all players have access to! Emotes! And yes you heard that right, emotes are the window into learning the slidecast window!

The easiest way to describe slidecasting is that you can move very tiny amounts while still casting. This can be used to allow some restricted mobility to casters. Obviously bigger movements call for other tools to be used, but this allows some baseline inching around to resolve mechanics!

Now for the trick!

So arrange your user interface where you can get some emotes in your face and drag them onto the bar. Now start casting a spell and you’ll notice for the majority of the cast bar that the emotes are blocked off-- now suddenly they reappear! As soon as they have reappeared on your screen you can start moving or even jumping to your next cast.

Of course this is a very brief window though so be careful you aren’t clipping your global cooldown too badly with this! Otherwise you’re losing a decent chunk of the benefit of slidecasting.

However once you have mastered slidecasting it is extremely worth it.

Once you get comfortable with the emojis, you may either decide to keep them or take them away if you get really used to the timings yourself. But I think this is excellent and is an extremely accessible way for all players to get some trainings wheels for slide casting!

Anyhow take care everyone, and if this video helped you I’d super appreciate if you considered dropping a slidecasted fire 4 onto that like button and cat daddy that subscribe button! Take care everyone!
