All of Kirby's voice clips (including his Copy Ability) voice clips from Smash 64, provided by Makiko Ohmoto. This was the very first game where Ohmoto voiced Kirby (in addition to voicing Ness), and she has consistently voiced him ever since. Admittedly, her take on the cute pink puffball was a bit deeper-pitched at first, sounding a bit older than he does in later installments, but I digress. Kirby may have been the only representative of his franchise in this game, but later games would feature Meta Knight and King Dedede as well, and the Kirby franchise in general would play a larger role in the series on top of it (it helps that Sakurai has mainly developed both franchises to a large degree). What's especially notable is that Kirby was a top tier in this game, only to drop to an extreme bottom tier in Melee, which definitely didn't do our friend any favors.......
