All of Pikachu's voice clips from Smash 64, provided by Ikue Otani. Pikachu has been playable in every single Smash Bros. game thus far, but his debut in the series is notable for having him at the top of the current tier list alongside Kirby (who would later fall off hard in the tier list for Melee, being a bottom tier in that game), as well as having a different set of voice clips courtesy of Ms. Otani. I also love how chubby Pikachu is in this game, seeing as this game was made during Gen 1-early Gen 2 of the Pokemon series where he had a more chubby design. In general, Pikachu gives me some really fun vibes in this game that make him feel distinct from his other Smash appearances.
