Ok finally played Nox in a real match in Arena Mode. Was also considering Siege mode as well but I'm going to be rather busy for Halloween sadly so wanted to put out a video ASAP. I do think she might fare better in Siege especially if she is up against a Mage.

This game was pretty crazy it's the first real challenge I've had in days honestly. I think they were a premade because they were too well coordinated like how they tried to single target focus Gods near the end, even hitting me with Weakening Curse to try to insure I died lol. A team of Randoms usually can't coordinate like that.

Of course the build wasn't perfect but I think the Voidstone served its purpose well since it was their Mages whom were the main threat early on. Osiris became a beast though.

All I can say is yeah her buffs don't help her a whole lot. The issue? Mages will know you'll try to get them and will avoid you, just stop using their abilities when hit with Night Terror and walk away. There's no stopping them from walking away since she has no slows lol. The key to using it at least in Arena was when they're careless in a chaotic team fight and maybe hoping to jump away with an ability.

Also she's anti Mage but...Well their team wasn't really Mage heavy, she doesn't do well against Gods like Herc, he doesn't care if you use ultimate on him his goal is to beat your face in with his basic attacks, her ult is just....not practical without any additional effects against such Gods. I'm glad they didn't have a Mercury since I imagine he'd still kill Nox super fast, shield or not.

So I am with the people who want a slow or something on her ultimate, it needs an additional effect it's just so easily made useless. Yes there are Gods who have recasts and such but good luck getting them to fall for it. They probably know the moment they see Nox on the loading screen to watch out.

Probably will fare better in Siege. I'll attempt it at some point.

And yes her taunt animation is odd lol. I didn't taunt here and you can't see it well while playing but she does something that'd make way more sense for Aphrodite to do lol.

Art design wise and voice wise she's pretty awesome though barring that oddity. I do understand why Hi-Rez has been careful with her balance wise, they don't want her to become ridiculous.
