Trying out Osiris for the first time(not counting a game with our intentional feeder griefing us) :P.

Osiris is the newest God in Smite and his title is The title Broken God of the Afterlife. It's meant to be because of his lore and how Isis couldn't quite put him all the way back together again. Some people argue hs IS gameplay wise broken. Is he? Well hard to say still but I'd lean towards yes at times. His passive is just AMAZING IMO.

Fragmented is his passive: Each time Osiris uses an ability he burns away a fragment of his body, gaining 2% physical damage mitigation for each missing fragment. After losing 8 fragments, he becomes his Spirit form. He may walk through enemies and enemy blockers, and his basic attacks do not incur a movement penalty. This effect lasts for 6 successful basic attacks.

So in other words, he can waltz through things like Odin ultimate, Ymir walls, etc when he is in Spirit Form! Since it's not based on time he can maintain it and save it at times so he can avoid such things and chase down escaping Gods easier. I personally love it and think it's one of the things that makes him unique but I can see how people find it nuts.

His other abilities are rather reasonable. Perhaps Judgement Tether is the other part of what makes him crazy at times: Osiris flings out mummy wraps, tethering himself to all nearby enemies in a 35 ft radius. Targets hit deal 10/15/20/25/30% reduced damage and 5% less damage each second for 4s. The tether can be broken by targets moving far enough away from Osiris. Targets still in range when the duration expires are stunned for 1.4s.

While it can be moved away from, still does provide some crazy good utility in a team-fight, to force them to run away or deal with the tether.

His ultimate Lord Of The Afterlife:
Osiris sheds any remaining fragments, gaining the benefit of his passive, and leaps forward. Osiris will target the lowest health god in the 15 ft radius, and rip a fragment of their spirit out, dealing 220/320/420/520/620 (+80% of your physical power) damage and preventing them from healing for 6s. The target is rooted for 0.4s during the attack. All minions in the target area take damage.

His ultimate is pretty damn good too, the most impressive effect being that healing prevention! That will help deal with Carries whom have an Aphrodite or someone around to heal them usually.

Build wise, I'm gonna have to mess with different builds more. I think Frostbound can be a good choice though since he is pretty bulky. I also see Fatalis built on him A LOT for some reason so I'll have to try that to see if it's really worth it. I do like how he's a bulky Warrior though.

This particular match was pretty good but not the most intense, we had real solid team-work. I loved that amazing push Ymir initiated at one point in the game. I'd commend the Ymir if Smite allowed for such things, was a beautiful play. We had a good team this time, it was nice after well, all the constantly arguing teams I've been on in the last few Conquest/Assault games really was getting absurd.
