Last year at the game awards "armored core fires of rubicon" got announced and as a result got me interested in taking a look at the series. I've always been a Fromsoft fan but for whatever reason I've never been able to give this series its due; until now. I'm definitely new to the series so this review will be from the perspective of someone checking it out for the first time. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised it was as good as people said it was. It has an addicting form of gameplay I never knew I needed. There's something relaxing about experimenting with different types of builds, seeing what works and what doesn't.

My only real complaint is that this game is in dire need of a PC port. Robot customization would be a lot more smoother with the convince of a keyboard and mouse, and the games performance would instantly sky rocket. Aside from that the core gameplay is really solid.
