Solo: A Star Wars Story Box Office Tracking Higher Than Rogue One’s Opening Weekend
727Deadline is reporting that the tracking for Disney/Lucasfilm’s ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ is forecasting an opening weekend of $170M-plus at the domestic box office. Sources tell Deadline that the film has an unaided score of 28 which puts it higher than Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 which both opened at around $150 million. The film also has a “Definite” interest of 55 which is higher than Spider-Man: Homecoming’s 53 and that film opened to $117M. If the film debuts to over $150M over the four day weekend then it will top the two highest Memorial Day openings of Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
